The dog days of summer are here—the sun is high, the days are long, and time has a way of slipping by if we’re not paying attention. Before we know it, the air will cool, and summer will be behind us.
So how can we slow it down?
By slowing ourselves down.
In The Untethered Soul, Michael Singer reminds us that peace comes not from changing the world around us, but from relaxing into the moment. Eckhart Tolle, in The Power of Now, teaches that the only true life we have is the one happening right now. Not yesterday. Not tomorrow. Just now.
This month, I invite you to take on a 30-day Presence Challenge.
Here’s the invitation:

Each day, carve out a pocket of quiet—no podcasts, no audiobooks, no TV, no screens. Just you and silence. Whether you're walking barefoot in the grass, washing the dishes, or sitting on your porch with a cup of tea, the goal is to be fully present. No multitasking. No distractions. Just your breath, your senses, your awareness.
It might feel strange at first—maybe even boring. But boredom can be the first door to presence. On the other side is something extraordinary: being fully alive. When we drop into the now, life stretches out. We actually feel the breeze, taste our food, hear the birds.
So, this month, let’s slow time down the only way we truly can—by showing up for it.
Let’s take this challenge together.
30 days of quiet, 30 days of presence.
Are you in?
Enjoy the moment.
